Vrat — Privacy Policy

Everything you enter or choose is stored only on your phone, and is never sent to us or to anyone else:

• The city you select
• Which families of fast you follow, and your tradition settings
• Your fasting log — what you kept, how it went, and any notes you write
• Your reminder preferences

We do not operate a server for this app. There is no account, no sign-in, and no way for us to see any of the above. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. You can also clear your fasting history at any time from Settings → Your log → Clear.

Sunrise, sunset and every panchang value are computed on your device from the coordinates of the city you pick. The app does not use GPS, and it does not request location permission.

The current version of Vrat shows no advertising. The app includes Google's advertising library, but it is never started: no ad is requested, no advertising ID is read, and the app does not hold the Android permission that would let it read one. Nothing about you or your device is sent to Google, or to us.

A future version may add advertising to the free app, supplied by Google AdMob, with a paid option to remove it. If that happens, this policy will be updated first, the date at the top will change, and the app's Google Play listing will say that it contains ads. In such a version, Google may collect and process your device's advertising ID along with technical information such as device type and coarse region. That data would be collected by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own privacy policy:

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android's Settings → Privacy → Ads.

In any version that carries advertising, it stops entirely if you subscribe to Vrat Premium.

The current version has nothing to buy. Every fast, timing and feature is free, and there is no subscription to take out.

If a Vrat Premium subscription is introduced, it will be billed through Google Play. Payment would be handled entirely by Google — we would never see your card details, your name, or your billing address. The app would store only a local flag recording that a subscription is active.

Reminders are scheduled on your device by the app itself. No push service is used, and no reminder data leaves your phone.

The app is suitable for all ages and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address and the date at the top will change.
